LIGHTHOUSE DAY ON HÄRADSKÄR

Welcome to the lighthouse day at Häradskär island on Saturday the 16th of August!

On the international lighthouse day, both the island and the lighthouse are kept open and you are welcome to climb the stairs and see the beautiful view from the top.

The boat to Häradskär departs from Fyrudden at 10.30, 11.30 and 12.30 on Saturday the 16th of August. The boat trip takes about half an hour. We go back from Häradskär after 3 hours (and arrives at Fyrudden approx. 30 min later).

At Häradskär, the local guide tells the history of the island with both pilots and lighthouse keepers and about the history of the lighthouse itself.

The lighthouse day is celebrated all over the country this weekend.
