From the canal quay in Söderköping, you can take a five-hour trip with M/S Athene to Stegeborg. First, we lock through Tegelbruket and thereafter the Mem Lock. This lock was the final lock built in the Göta Canal project. 

As we cruise the beginning of the Sankt Anna archipelago, Slätbaken, we finally reach the narrow strait of the bay inlet and the island that once blocked the entrance to Söderköping. We stop at Stegeborg Harbour for an hour. Why not explore the castle ruins, stroll through the impressive oak landscapes, or enjoy an ice cream or beer in the harbour during the stop. At 14:15, M/S Athene departs back to the canal and Söderköping.

Onboard, you can indulge in a summer lunch and refreshing drinks while being guided through the landscapes. This day trip is available as a one-way journey or round trip.
