M/S Athene was built at Eriksbergs Mekaniska Verkstads AB in 1915 as a private pleasure yacht. In the 1930s, she was converted into a passenger vessel, and in 1950, the steam engine was removed and replaced with a Seffle semi-diesel engine of 120 hp in Fisketången. Before coming to us, she has served various routes, including Stockholm archipelago, the West Coast, Lake Vättern, Göta Canal, and most recently, Lake Mälaren and Lake Hjälmaren. Now, she is back on the Göta Canal, with Söderköping as her home port.
Ellen was built at Motala Mekaniska Werkstads AB in 1885 as an icebreaking tugboat. In 1955, she was motorised with a 300 hp Skandia diesel engine at Lunde shipyard. In 1979, she was converted into a passenger vessel at Visingsö. She then served on various routes, including the West Coast and Lake Vänern. In 2014, she was sold to the West Coast where she was given her current appearance, with a staircase leading up to the sun deck and taller chimneys. Since 2019, she has been back home in Östergötland after 134 years of service around Sweden!
Svanö was built in 1899 at Hernösands Mekaniska Verkstad & Warfs AB as a steam-powered tugboat. She was motorised in 1952 and was converted into a passenger vessel in 2010. Since then, she has operated in passenger traffic on Lake Hjälmaren under the name Liden before finding her way to us. She is now once again named Svanö and, during the summer, operates the route Arkösund-Tyrislöt-Harstena daily.
