ABOUT THE TOUR

Join us for an exciting nature experience out in the outer archipelago. We take you to the Sandskänkan Seal Protection Area, where a seal colony has re-established itself around the Sandskänkan lighthouse. Departure from Tyrislöt or Fyrudden.

The trip begins with a stop at Harstena, where we enjoy a guided tour of the island, its history, and its past seal hunting. We then continue out to the Sandskänkan Seal Protection Area to spot seals and experience the open sea. There are excellent opportunities to see seals in their natural environment.

The journey returns via skerries and islets to Harstena. Here, there is time to explore the island further on your own, enjoy a picnic, or perhaps have dinner at the restaurant before returning to Fyrudden at 21:00.

What should I bring? Casual clothing. A wind- and waterproof jacket is recommended, as splashes are common and you may get wet. Bring a picnic if you wish.
